Kiwi Can
This week for Kiwi Can we learnt about positive relationships and the tone of our voice. The first game we played was fruit salad and when they say apple we move our hips to the left, then if they say pears we move our hips to the right, after that say banana then we move our hip in the front and then if they say watermelon we move our hips at the back. Then our last game was about positive and negative role played. I felt shy doing the role played because I don't like to do role play in front of people.

Venn Diagram/ Role Models
Today Sandra, Nyjah , Matthew, Jonathan and I made a Venn Diagram about the qualities of a role model we know. The role models we listed are Robert K. Merton, Tom Holland, Ryan Terry, Marzia Bisognin and Felix Kjellberg. We all think that the people listed in our Venn diagram have good qualities because they are amazing role models. A good role models is someone who we look up too and inspire us to keep trying to do our best.

Sketchnote Explanation
This week we worked in pairs for writing and we created this digital sketch note about Explanation Writing. We used information that we already knew and then we shared ideas as a class. We need to remember when writing an explanation that we have a Title, Introduction, 3 paragraphs for the information and a Conclusion. We should use formal language and write in present tense We need to remember to structure our sentences and use time order so our information makes sense. I worked with Nevaeh on this task.

Te Tiriti o Waitangi
A special event has been happening for the pass few years, which is the Treaty of Waitangi. As an excitement LS2 is working collaboratively to learn about the Treaty of Waitangi. Did you know that the Treaty of Waitangi was signed in 1840, 6th of February? More than 500 chiefs signed this. This slide included information about the Treaty of Waitangi. We did a lot of summarising, but at the same time we learnt a bunch of new vocabulary words. We collaboratively communicated together for the last task, which was to choose 2 questions and communicate with our group at the same time. The questions that we chose were what factors make a successful partnership between two people and what would Aotearoa be like today if we had no treaty. We listed down a lot of ideas, as we started talking. Talking was the main thing that helped us during this activity.
