Writing Personification
As my tired, soggy and worn out body slowly scrapes across the muddy concrete floor, I think back to what happened this morning.
Just as I was about to fall asleep, these 5 wrinkly, cheese smelling things are shoved inside me. Their sharp tips scratch my innards and get caught in my fabric. I angrily chafe this intruder, and it responds by smacking me against a wall. As I’m unwilling to be torn on any sharp objects, I relent and let the smelly thing be. After an hour or so of running, my friend and I are forced to watch as the giant goes straight through a puddle of mud- with us still attached! It only groaned as a huge amount of water started flooding through my skin.
Boy do I hate being a shoe.
Today for writing Alex and I needed to write a story from a shoes' perspective, the thing is, we couldn't talk. It got confusing at times because we both had ideas but they were nothing alike. We also needed to use the some of the senses to describe what was happening to the shoe. After that, we listened to the other group's stories and then we presented our own.

Food Print
Yesterday Michal Garvey from foodprint talked to us about how she started to make her own businesses. She talked to us about how waste was being a problem and how she stared to plan her own businesses. It took around 2 years of planning and now it been 6 months when it opened. She did this because so much food is being wasted. Like 20 million loaves of bread has been wasted in NZ a year and imagine how much money it will cost for the resources and transport.

My partner was Khit he was in room 7, when we got to the cinema we dropped off our partner to their seat. After we dropped our partner off we went to the back seats to watch the movies. The movie that I like was how to learn because it was funny and fun to watch. After the film festival was done we grabbed the same partner and got onto the bus.

A History of Protest in New Zealand
This week in reading, our group was reading a book about some of the biggest protest in New Zealand's. The book that we were reading was called Stand Up A History of Protest in New Zealand. As we were doing reciprocal reading, we made a list of vocabulary, summary, predictions and questions. Then we made a literacy weaving strip and using two words each from the book. I chose bread and soldiers because back then instead of fighting the soldiers they would hang out bread. Choosing my second option wasn't hard, I chose soldiers because they were taking down the house to make new roads
Who is Guy Fawkes
Today you should all know this quotes remember remember the 5th November. Today we are learning about a person name Guy Fawkes/Guido Fawkes. Need And Want
This week for inquiry we had to compare the difference between need and want. This was kind of hard because we can't say need or want in the explanation. We worked into groups so that we can talk to each other and explain something that we don't know.
